Camp Lango - Contra Costa County

We’re thrilled to offer Camp Lango, our Language immersion summer day camp, in Contra Costa County this summer. At Camp Lango, kids have a blast, summer-camp style, running and playing games outside and engaging in arts and crafts – all while learning Spanish or Mandarin through Lango’s Graduated Immersion© approach. Camp Lango is a terrific way for kids ages 4-12 (going into kindergarten - fourth grade) to learn new languages and gain cultural insight without traveling far from their backyard. At our culturally and geographically specific camps, Lango campers will spend each week immersed in an exciting part of the French, Chinese or Latin American world. Lango's dynamic, experienced teachers serve as counselors, and are supported by native-speaking and fluent assistant counselors. Campers spend each day moving from one activity to the next, including special "No English!" times, designed to provide an immersion experience while still allowing for a ton of fun. Each child and their ability is treated individually at Camp, so all experience levels are welcome. A week or more of Camp Lango will be a definite boost to your child's new language ability!
