Our Team

As the Area Director for Denver, my goal is to bring quality classes to parents in convenient locations throughout the week.  But what truly makes our classes successful? The answer to that question is most definitely our devoted and tireless teachers.

Lango's teachers make our classes truly exceptional. In our selection process, we look for five distinct qualities: native/bilingual fluency, limitless positive energy, creativity, teaching experience with relevant age groups and outstanding communication skills with both children and their parents. Beyond these qualities, though, our teachers bring unique cultural perspectives and professional backgrounds that enable them to create rich, engaging experiences in the classroom. Kelli Cahoone earned a B.A. in Spanish in 1996 from Metro State College of Denver after a semester in Seville, Spain with Trinity Christian College and extensive travel throughout Mexico. Upon graduation, she moved to Valparaiso, Chile and then later took a bus across the Andes to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she played music and taught English to Koreans. About three years later she returned to Denver, where she  taught Spanish to children and adults in both Montessori and Waldorf Schools, Community Colleges, after-school programs and private lessons. She discovered Lango in early 2008, upon it's birth at Intrax Cultural Exchange in downtown San Fransisco, and their mission became her mission as well..., may every child in the U.S. have the exposure to second and third languages well before the age of 9! She is also a singer/songwriter and a very proud mother of one.

Stacy Crum Duran has a B.A. in Spanish Education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. She studied for a semester in Seville, Spain, as well has spent a considerable amount of time travelling and studying in Mexico and Guatemala. A Spanish Teacher since 1993, she has taught all levels, including advanced classes for native Spanish Speakers. She is excited to begin a new school year with Lango!
