Weekly Themes and Destinations

CampLango is an immersion summer camp designed to give children a unique summer experience. They'll get to spend their summer- time having fun, acquiring a second or third language, and taking pretend trips to different destinations of Latin America, France, and China. This year's site is Irvine Valley College (IVC) in Irvine. This great location has many exciting things to offer: multimedia rooms and ample play areas for our outdoor games and adventure challenges of the afternoon. The details, activities, and schedules are described below.
June 28 to July 2 - The Jungle / La Jungla: We start off the week and the summer camp with our great trip to the Jungle, not before standing in line at the Camps' Bureau of Consular Affairs and receiving a passport and our ticket to the Amazon in Colombia and Brazil. We'll join Cosmo and his friends in their adventures in the Jungle. What!?!? Cosmo and his friends are looking for a lost treasure in the jungle. Do you think you can help them find it? Children love mystery and the chance to explore, and at Camp Lango we give them the possibility to learn about wild animals, what they eat, their footprints, but watch out...some animals can be lurking in the shadows, and the jungle is full of things that creep and crawl! Our explorers will be taking part in hands-on activities, and role playing in our animals’ parade. Students will have the chance to create masks, and landscapes. Join us for the wild expedition!
