Hello and Welcome! My name is Kristina Stutler, as the Area Director for Coastal San Diego my goals are to provide San Diego children with FUN and educational language emersion classes and offer them at the most convenient locations for busy parents. There are numerous aspects that contribute to our success including a unique FUN filled curriculum, small class ratio, locations throughout your community and last but not least extremely dedicated teachers, who make our classes truly exceptional.
As an experienced language teacher and a bi-lingual person myself I know the importance of having a native speaker in the classroom in order to promote proper pronunciation and offer a unique cultural perspective. In the process of hiring our teachers I followed five distinct qualities: native/bilingual fluency, limitless positive energy, creativity, teaching experience and outstanding communication skills with both children and their parents. Beyond these qualities though, our teachers bring professional backgrounds that enable them to create rich, engaging experiences in the classroom.
Please meet our teachers:
FRENCH:
Delphine Roy is from Paris, France and a mother of two young kids (Samuel 4 years old and Ambre 2 years old). In her previous position in France, she was a self-employed as physical therapist. Even thought Delphine doesn’t have direct teaching experience her passion for children and ability to multi task make her an excellent Lango teacher.
She has been in the United States for 4 months with her husband and kids. He has accepted a position at the SCRIPPS Research Institute as a Research Associate, and it has been an exciting experience for their family.
Delphine studied English during her high school years, as well as some Latin, German, and Russian.
At home she loves cooking and savoring some great French wines. She is an athlete and used to run 2 marathons per year before her pregnancies. She still runs about 20 miles per week. She considers herself to be an epicurean person who enjoys life.
She wants to know everything about the American way of life, so she is open to meet people who want to share their experience. She is very outgoing and currently working on improving her English to make friends and to have some great social interactions.
She is looking forward to teaching your kids French!
SPANISH:
Nirey Luna was born and raised in San Diego County and is currently living in Vista. She is a wife and mother of two kids, Marissa and Franco. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and cuddling up to a good book. Nirey was raised in a Spanish-English bilingual environment by a family that was determined not to lose their Mexican roots. In her childhood she remembers going to Mexico during the holidays and summer breaks with her grandparents to visit their families, they made sure she knew and grew up to proud of her Mexican heritage and ensured that she woud grow up fully bilingual in both her English and Spanish. For this she is very thankful and grateful to them. Following tradition, she is now raising her own kids in a bilingual environment and hopes to help your child learn Spanish as well!
Jazmin Miller was born in Orange County California. At the age of six her family moved to Northern Texas. Her parents wanted her to stay familiar with their Hispanic heritage so she would spend her summers in Mexico visiting her grandparents. After graduating high school she went to college in Tulsa, Oklahoma to become a pilot and met the love of her life. After the birth of their first daughter in 2008 they decided to move back to her husband's hometown in Southern California. She had their second daughter in 2010. She has enjoyed being a stay at home mother. Jazmin started working at Lango to help share her knowledge of Spanish with others. She believes that every person can benefit from being bilingual.
